Our server hosting service, includes the following spec:
- A single tenant server spec’d to your specific requirements
- Server location in whichever geography works best for you and your customers
- Server is built to your specific site requirements – perfect if your site needs a custom/obscure php module or application not available on shared hosting
- Resources 100% dedicated to your site
- Nightly off-server backups
- Infrastructure will be manually patched and secured to industry standards at all times
- Updates and patching will be scheduled for quiet times as defined by you
- All Infrastructure will be actively monitored for issues including:
- Intrusion detection
- Rootkit detection
- Per minute port monitoring (are services up)
- Resource monitoring (CPU, Memory, Disk Space, Disk IO)
- Reputation alerts on public IP addresses, SSL certificates and Domains
- Expiry alerts for your SSL certificates and Domain(s)
- All server, infrastructure, ISP and supplier issues are sent straight to us to deal with
- Liaise with server provider and raise tickets where appropriate
- Outages will be reacted to within 30 minutes (usually faster)
- Quarterly review of infrastructure resources provided
- We will always advise of any downtime required
- We will also advise of known security issues either due to end of life or trending issues
- Documentation on all infrastructure to be kept fully up to date and maintained
All of the above is based on an 8/5 service. We are more than happy to do planned out-of-hours work for any of the above at via our in-life support package.
