Hi Ray, We are obviously not lawyers but my understanding is that you are “a natural person who is not a Union citizen [but] who is a resident of a Member State”. The EURid website states…

United Kingdom citizens residing in a Union Member State will remain eligible to hold a .eu domain name after the end of the transition period. United Kingdom citizens residing outside of the Union Member States, on the other hand, will no longer be eligible to hold a .eu domain name after the end of the transition period.

… as such, where you live seems more important than citizenship so changing your address seems like a perfect resolution. I hope this helps 🙂

Can i keep the .eu domain (and associated email address) simply by changing my contact details (with SiteGround, with whom the domain is registered) to my German address? With thanks for your help!
